10th Anniversary

Euraba Paper Aboriginal Corporation celebrated 10 years of making handmade paper and paper artworks on Saturday 15th November 2008. From humble beginnings the dream of Euraba Paper has blossomed into a program of ongoing exhibitions around Australia and the world. People came to Euraba Paper Company in Boggabilla NSW to celebrate with the artists this milestone occasion.and took part in the collaborative mural by puting their handprint on the wall of the papermill.

"My name is Deborah Knox. I was born in Dalby Queensland in 1958. I'm of the Kamilaroi Tribe. I've recently returned to Boggabilla after spending nearly twenty years in Tamworth which is also in the Kamilaroi region. I started working at Euraba in September 2005 making paper which I love. But as the weeks went by I started to experiment with pulp painting and sold my first painting at Art Sydney '06 which was an experience I'll never forget. My other love at the mill is bookbinding."

Since Deb started working with Euraba she has proved to be a highly skilled papermaker and is an enthusiastic promoter of the company. She has been carefully developing her own unique style in pulp painting and is very passionate about the ideas she portrays through her work.
